Data Transfer

Data which already exists in digital form can usually be transferred to scopeArchiv. The client delivers the necessary documentation and data. scope has a wealth of experience both in the field of data transfers and consulting relating to this (advising the client on the independent import of data).

Prerequisite for an efficient data transfer is the definition of scopeArchiv forms into which the data is to be loaded. Usually, scope draws up data transfer specifications (mapping document) based on information provided by the client. This mapping document is then reviewed with and signed by the client.

The data is then first transferred by scope, checked by the client and released for import into the system. Manual preparation or follow-up processing is carried out by the customer, where necessary and if not arranged otherwise.

The quality of the source data is unfortunately often considerably below the level initially declared by the customer. Estimates of the workload required for data transfers can therefore only be guidelines and can only be made reliably after a detailed analysis of the data.
