Test Installation

The guarantee a standard software can give, is that the program works as described in the documentation. Before an order is placed, it is the customers duty to confirm that the software fulfils the requirements. Answers to questions during a tender can help, but due to the shortness misunderstandings can happen. Besides that, tender documents often are oriented towards the existing solution. Therefore we recommend a test run.

As a representation of the actual implemented work processes, scopeArchiv is a comprehensive software package: Even if the individual functions are often self-explanatory and easy to learn – not least because of their similar look and feel to Microsoft Office –, the sum is not trivial: A test installation requires a certain minimum amount of work to be carried out (user training, preparation and import of test data) in order to really provide an accurate impression.

 

scope offers three different possibilities:

  • Citrix-Demo Access: Access to our computing center over the internet for a small number of users. One day basic training is provided free of charge.  
  • Notebook-PC, on which all modules of scopeArchiv, including the database, are installed and configured. Will be provided for a certain period. One day basic training is provided free of charge.
  • Complete Installation (= productive infrastructure), obviously the best solutions. A charge will be made for installation, configuration and in depth training. The advantage is, that the customer can test the program thoroughly and with larger test data. Next to that he/she can convince himself of the easy installation and the competence of the scope staff.
    If the customer should decide in favor of scope the costs for the test installation are deducted from the price. If not the test installation will be deleted. Such a test is more meaningful and more efficient as such a test installation can be converted easily into a productive installation.
